The speaker are now on very nice Oak faced stands

An extremely difficult living room to place speakers in so this is what I ended up with.

Mark, hope you don't mind, but your system deserves it's own thread.

Mark, that's just too sweet to not say something about.

I forgot Pioneer can be so dang purdy! Dang sure can't knock the sound, either. Lots of my buddies in the Army had Pioneer, spent many an hour hanging out, listening.

Great shrine, I bet some serious meditation takes place at it... ooohm soundt/eyes.gif

check it out. in the first pic (black & white), just to the left of the main rack, you'll see another sweet custom rack for the TT and LP's.

Take a good look as this winter much will chang ein my very own little stereo universe

Plans for the Pioneer main stack include swaping the PDR-509 CD recorder out and replacing it with my PD-M552 CD changer. (The PDR-509 will be going into the TT cabinet to be able to record LPs directly through the preamp)

I will also be finally adding two more sets of speaker wires so I can run my HPM-60's stacked on the HPM-100's in the living room (if only on a temp basis as she won't allow them to be stacked all the time)

So small changes in the interconnects and the connections that allow the Main rack to roll out of the wall will take place.

The TT cabinet will end up with a different TT sitting on top I'm seriously dreaming about a Pro-Ject RM-5 Table That I'm thinking about modifying to have 2 arms.

The SERIES20 C-21 Preamp will stay I'm also going to be adding a DIY selector switch unit right underneith the Preamp. This may include a Speed box for the TT and Headphone Amp as well.

On the right side of the main rack a HUGE change will happen. All the book shelves will be coming out. And a Mini Rack with my Scott 233 based Tube system To include the amp a Scott 312 Tuner and a cosmetically modified Samsung DVD player (I'm going to make it look like a 1965 Scott unit) will be on the wall opisite the TT.

below that will be a Draw unit that my RCM will sit in so I can pull it out to be used. Though I will still pull it out and set it up on the kitchen table for serious cleaning sessions)

Below this will be an open shelf for something yet unknown kind of a test bed shelf if you will.

And above the Tube system will be a mid 1960's looking turntable I am going to build based on a mmt arm I have.

And at the bottom a shelf for albums Always need more album shelfs. In fact in my office is now a shelf that holds approx. 750 albums.

SO I should have plenty to do this winter during my Lay off from work.
