i've heard the 17's for extended periods at close range on a few occasions.... sounded pretty good to me.

I would think just about every orifice would bleed from 600 watts from Jim's Soundcraftsman amps through those bad boys I seem to remember these having scary spl's with a modest Marantz receiver, mini VOTT, horns aren't my thing but, I likey these -------------------- Main: Yamaha MX-800U, Marantz 2270 as a preamp, Thorens TD125MKII SME3009II Shure V15 IV, Teac V-8000S, Denon DN-790R, Fostex E-2, Panasonic DVD/CD, Martin Logan The Sequel, JBL L56 for a change
